Your Windows Determine the Method of Installation

Windows with trim and no depth.
If your window has a frame trim around it, but has little or no depth (less than 3/4" depth), any shutter will have to be mounted in a frame on top of the window trim or built out on the wall surrounding the trim.

Windows with no trim and no depth.
If your window has no trim, only dry wall, your shutters can be installed with ez install frames that mount on the wall around the window. These frames can be three sided or four sided depending on whether your window has a sill.

Windows with trim and depth.
If your window has trim around it but has an inch or more depth, your shutter can be mounted with a hanging strip and the trim on the window serves as a frame around the shutters.
